Arts education is an equalizer that gives kids in our community, all kids, skills that help them flourish. We live in a region with lower graduation rates than others in our state; low proficiency in math and reading, and lagging teacher educational attainment. Our region experiences lower incomes and wages relative to the livable wage in other ares of the state. MoCo Arts’ inclusive, nurturing, supportive atmosphere transforms lives.

In the studios of MoCo Arts the children of physicians and high-tech executives learn, grow and transform alongside the children of minimum wage workers; confident academic achievers dance, sing and train next to those who struggle with school but thrive in movement; differences are erased; movement and joy takes its place.

MoCo is the largest arts education nonprofit in the Monadnock region and – living its commitment to make arts education accessible to all – the only one to offer significant tuition assistance.
