Campers at C.A.K.E. Festival Day singing ‘Moving MoCo’.
The celebration of MoCo Moves was in full force recently at C.A.K.E. camp Festival Day. Students Maddie Phaneuf and Alden Ormont spoke to the importance of the campaign and invited guests to participate in a special fundraising event that evening at Margaritas restaurant. In true MoCo fashion, all the campers on stage then stood up and helped perform ‘Moving MoCo’, our campaign song written by MoCo friends Deanna Zilske and Steve Cady (perhaps you’ve heard it in the radio jingles!!).
We don’t yet know the final amount raised during the Margaritas fundraiser. What we do know is that the restaurant was filled with enthusiastic MoCo families supporting this meaningful campaign. Thank you Margaritas restaurant of Keene for hosting a Noche Mexicana Fundraising Event and thank you to everyone who dined at Margaritas on Thursday night in support of MoCo Moves.
